Lime

Lime fruit, and particularly their juice, are used in beverages, such as limeade (akin to lemonade). Alcoholic drinks prepared with limes include cocktails such as the gin and tonic, margarita, mojito, and Cuba libre, as well as many drinks that may be garnished with a thin slice of the fruit or corkscrew strip of the peel (twist). One customary consumption of tequila is in shots accompanied by lime wedges and salt. Beer is often served with limes in Mexico, as well as some other countries. Lime juice is also used in commercial soft drinks.




Bananito

The baby banana (bananito) is a small fruit, between 8 and 13 cm long and 3 cm in diameter. The skin is soft and smooth, finer and thinner than that of regular banana. The unripened color is green and yellow once ripe, with little brown spots. The flesh has an ivory color with few fibres and a buttery texture. It has a more intense taste and perfume than regular banana. The Baby Banana, like all other bananas, is considered one of the healthiest fruits that exists. This is because it is rich in minerals and vitamins and an execellent very digestive restorative.


Passion Fruit

Passion fruit (Portuguese: maracujá; Spanish: maracuyá) comes from passion flower vines, plants of the genus Passiflora, native to tropical and sub-tropical America. The members of this genus produce beautiful flowers that are extensively cultivated outside their natural range.




The Physalis, or Uchuva

Physalis is a genus of plants in the nightshade family Solanaceae, native to warm temperate and subtropical regions throughout the world. The genus is characterised by the small orange fruit similar in size, shape and structure to a small tomato, but partly or fully enclosed in a large papery husk derived from the calyx.
